論文分三部分：第一部分主要分析《漱玉詞》前後期不同的藝術風格，認為其前期詞風清新明麗，細膩婉轉，而後期因遭遇家國慘變，詞風轉變為凄清哀婉，沉摯悲涼；一第二部分探討了《漱玉詞》藝術風貌，認為其詞之所以享譽詞史，在於其詞所具有的自傳特性，獨特的藝術風格，表現手法及其富於表現力的語言；第三部分以《漱玉詞》為例，探討了宋詞教學的方法，及如何通過多種教學手段培養提高學生鑒賞宋詞的能力。
