將pb1 、 a878分別和各球菌m1 、 pb2 、 a30 、 a31接種于高膽固醇培養基中，在有膽汁和厭氧條件下， 37混合培養16 - 18h ，測定復合菌株和單菌株降低膽固醇的效果，以未接菌培養基為對照，結果表明， pb1與m1及pb2 ； a878與a30及a31的協同作用較好，降培養基中膽固醇的量都高於40以上。
