本文以吉林省長嶺縣為研究區，綜合運用遙感數據和其它相關數據資料得到研究區1991 ， 1995和2000年的土地利用圖；藉助地理信息系統的空間分析功能和統計分析軟體，應用地理圖形信息分析方法，建立了土地利用變化的圖形信息表達方法，並對其地學機制進行了概括。
