本研究在查閱了大量的與我國農業科技園區建設相關的文獻與資料的基礎上，對湖北省黃岡市農業科技園區建設的現狀進行了調查，運用規范和實證相結合及比較分析的方法探討了下列內容：從農業高新技術、農業科技園區的科學界定和功能定位出發，結合農業科技園區建設的相關實踐，論證大力發展農業科技園區對我國農業和農村經濟發展的重大戰略意義；通過對農業科技園區建設實踐的總結，評價了我國農業科技園區建設所取得的主要成績和經驗；結合園區建設的現狀，分析存在的問題，進而提出了建設有中國特色的農業科技園區的若干對策思路。
