Abstract : coke saving measures in the recent ， years at pangang are summarized according to various ways of beneficiated materials ， high blast temperature ， oxygen - enriched blast ， pulverized coal injection rate and improvement of blast furnace operation ， the effect of related smelting factors on coke rate is investigated in combination with the production data and moreover further measures for reduction of coke rate are proposed
