本文通過三種途徑即政府及相關機構、學校、家庭，調查宜賓市漢苗民族雜居區苗族文化與教育發展的現狀，分析得出了該地域苗族文化發展的特點和該地域民族教育的基本特徵，進而指出該地域文化與教育協同發展中存在的問題是民族文化的發展與教育的發展之間脫節，雙語教育沒有切實開展，職業教育與普通教育聯系不緊密，政府和教育部門的重視程度不夠。
