香港旅遊發展局旅發局一年一度的香港購物節已經展開，為配合香港發展成為國際中藥城市，今年香港購物節再次加入推廣本地中藥業的環節-中藥博覽2006 ，由香港中藥聯商會及余仁生香港有限公司余仁生舉辦，該活動將於七月七日至九日假旺角新世紀廣場一樓星際廳舉行，並以傳統正藥香港優勢為主題，由百成堂集團及香港浸會大學中醫藥學院浸大中醫藥學院全力協辦。On september 29 at a time later than the usual sea turtle nesting season, a mother turtle laid 107 eggs at tai long wan beach, shek o, on hong kong island. as it is a popular beach which is subject to disturbances due to human activities, it was not a suitable place for natural incubation of turtle eggs. therefore the eggs were removed by afcd staff for artificial incubation
該母龜在石澳大浪灣的泳灘產下了一百七隻蛋，由於大浪灣是公眾泳灘，遊人眾多，海龜蛋容易受騷擾，漁護署人員認為不適宜讓海龜蛋留在沙灘內自然孵化，因此便取走該批蛋進行人工孵化。
