    為了做到對本區的土資源的可持續利用、防治本區的荒漠化和保護龍羊峽庫,所以基於dem和已有的長短期觀測和實測數據,首先構建了青海共和盆地降雨、徑流、蒸散和區域分平衡的分散式模型;進一步在此基礎上,構建了青海共和盆地草地生產力的模型和基於作物分耗散與放牧因子校正的青海共和盆地草地生產力模型;利用草地載畜能力和現有牲畜量以及社會經濟因子等統計數據,結合實地調,分析了青海共和盆地草地生產力、物種構成、生境變化和荒漠化成因及其內在驅動因子,並對草地可持續利用做了評價。
