與其它通用的cfd軟體相比，經論文作者所改進的燃燒過程數值模擬軟體的特點在於： （ 1 ）能夠結合爐子結構、運行參數及燃料等，調整模型中相應的參數及處理方法； （ 2 ）可以靈活的安排網格節點，對某些節點進行特殊處理； （ 3 ）在邊界（水冷壁）條件的處理上，溫度選用了第三類邊界條件，把爐內燃燒過程和水冷壁內工質的流動和換熱聯系了起來，使得水冷壁內的吸熱情況對爐內的燃燒和結渣的影響充分體現出來。
