    為了解決這些問題，需要重新開發fms -的cad cam系統，目標就是從基於pdm下的通用cad系統提供的圖形信息直接描述零件開始，人工交互方式輸入加工信息，由專家系統的推理機實現自動配模，經計算產生刀位文件，優化排料后，再針對鈑金fms -的數控系統，後置處理生成相應的數控加工程序，數控機床根據加工程序代碼自動完成加工，從而實現鈑金fms -的cad cam系統基於pdm下的開放集成。

    該方法是利用我們熟悉的autocad或者其他cad能生成dxf文件格式的軟體，輸出零件的dxf文件，接著通過專用數據介面對dxf文件讀取並進行數據處理，在此基礎上輸入一些工藝參數進行前置處理生成刀位文件，然後對刀位文件進行後置處理生成相應數控機床或數控系統可識別的nc代碼，再將生成的nc代碼傳入數控機床或者將代碼手工輸入機床，進行自動加工，從而實現cad和cam的集成。
