應用wrfv1 . 2版系統對1997年登陸臺風winnie進行了數值預報模擬研究，結果表明，用通用陸面模式（ clm ）對8月18日08時初始場計算得到的winnie移動路徑、登陸時間及地點（見圖4 . 3 ）比其它七個試驗的計算結果更接近實際情況。表明wrf模式有較強的預報模擬能力。
