  1. The term “ freight ” includes the profit derivable by a shipowner from the employment of his ship to carry his own goods or movables, as well as freight payable by a third party, but does not include passage money

  5. A carriage contract is a contract whereby the carrier carries the passenger or cargo from the place of departure to the prescribed destination, and the passenger, consignor or consignee pays the fare or freightage

    第二百八十八條運輸合同是承運人將旅客或者貨物從起運地點運輸到約定地點，旅客、托運人或者收貨人支付票款或者運輸費用的合同。
  6. The proportion attaching to cargo of the allowances made in general average by reason of applying the third paragraph of this rule shall not exceed the cost which would have been borne by the owners of cargo if the cargo had been forward at their expense

    因適用本條第三款，認作共同海損補償而由貨物分攤的部分不應超過假如由貨主承擔費用把貨物轉運至目的港所應支付的費用。
