首次提出了評定瀝青路面裂縫填封和坑槽修補質量好壞最為直接、有效的評價指標，分別對用作裂縫填封材料的熱瀝青、乳化瀝青和改性瀝青及用作坑槽修補材料的熱拌瀝青混合料和冷拌瀝青混合料的性能、適用場合及優缺點進行了比較分析，並按永久性修補要求，歸納提煉了裂縫填封和坑槽修補的工藝步驟，提出了可供瀝青路面養護人員直接採用的工藝方案。
