The community legal service outreach programme was launched by the department of justice in collaboration with the council with an aim to promote legal awareness of the community. besides, 2003 04 secondary schools technology design competition creative design of assistive products for the elderly was co - organized by the council, plastics and tooling technology development centre of vocational training council and the engineering departments of tertiary institutes to enhance the younger generation to use their knowledge and creativity to show their concerns to the elders
另外，本會與香港兒科醫學院基金連續第三年合辦兒童及青少年身、心健康課程；與律政署合辦社區法律服務外展計劃，促進社會對法律的認知；與職業訓練局的塑膠與模具科技發展中心及各大學的工程學系合作，舉辦了全港中學生長者輔助用具設計比賽，鼓勵工程師及中學生加深對長者的認識。
