The questionnaires were handed out in several further education schools in guangxi province and the effective returning ones were analyzed according to different academic degree, origin, gender, age, income and career. generally speaking, the top six motivations are : self - development, pursuing knowledge, social contact, family requirement, competition or promotion and career development. however there are some differences in the learning motivation in terms of different backgrounds : the higher the academic degree holders, the lower the intensity of the learning motivation in self - development, social contact, family requirement and degree pursuing
在已有成人學習動機研究的基礎上，為使學習動機的研究更具體，使之與教育對策全面聯系起來，本文從求知、發展、競爭或提升、職業、交往、家庭、文憑、自尊、表現、其它共十個方面較全面地設計了成人學習動機的問卷調查表，對廣西區內幾所學校的493名成人函授學員進行了調查，對不同學歷、來源地、性別、年齡、收入、職業等因素進行了分類比較分析，結果發現：從總體上看，排在前六位的成人學習動機依次是：發展動機、求知動機、交往動機、家庭動機、競爭或提升動機、職業動機。
