    佛教楞嚴經記載，釋迦牟尼佛的大開悟徒弟文殊師利菩薩認為，靜觀神聖音流的打坐方法是到達涅盤的唯一途徑，釋迦牟尼佛表示同意，並說：大眾及阿難，旋汝倒聞機，反聞聞自性，性成無上道，圓通實如是，此是微塵佛，一路涅盤門，過去諸如來，斯門已成就。
