作者於2001年4月2002年5月以國家果樹種質廣州香蕉圃和華南農大香蕉品種園的主要芭蕉屬植物為研究對象，應用aflp分子標記技術探討野生蕉種間、野生蕉與栽培蕉、栽培蕉各類型之間以及各類型內部品種（系）之間的親緣關系，為香蕉的演化途徑研究、香蕉種質資源的評價利用、品種鑒定以及在分類上存在爭議的個別種質的系統學劃分等提供分子水平上的依據。
