It is difficult to conform the derivations of the native heavy minerals, so the author assumes corresponding procedures as follows to accomplish the research task : firstly, according to the composition typomorphic peculiarities of minerals deriving from mantle, the author selected a part of minerals as preliminary reseach objects from the native heavy minerals and then further investigate the mantle ones and their host rocks in two ways : one is the method of comparation with the corresponding minerals of rocks deriving mantle in the research field and other places ; anorther is the method of multivariate statistical analysis
本次工作為了盡可能地排除非幔源礦物的干擾，根據陳光遠（ 1990 ） 、潘兆櫓（ 1994 ）等學者有關礦物成分標型的論斷，篩選出地幔特徵元素含量較高的重砂礦物做為初步研究對象，為達到研究目的採取了如下方法：與區內已發現的幔源巖石（如鉀鎂煌斑巖等） 、國內外有代表性的堿性玄武巖、金伯利巖、鉀鎂煌斑巖的深源包體中的相應礦物進行對比研究的方法；多元統計分類的方法。
